The Severn Bore

This one has been on our bucket list for some time now. The Severn Bore is one of eight in the UK, and one of the biggest tidal surge waves in the world. This natural phenomenon can happen as many as 60 times a year, and surfers and kayakers travel for miles to try and ride it as long as possible.

Inevitably this party wave turns into a bit of a free for all, and trying to stay on the wave often means losing a few friends along the way, although this just adds to the spectacle and fun!

While the rivers are flowing...

This Winter has officially been the wettest of all time! So there was no excuse not to be out chasing the rain and taking on some white water.

The team covered the classics in South Wales, with most of the rivers in Waterfall Country running at nice levels most of the time.

Going deep on the Tawe.

"How does he do that..?"

Chiropractor required... A tricky landing on the Nedd Fechan.

The Afon Pryddin. One for next time..

The Escape team also found themselves in the South West, rafting the Upper Dart with the guys from CIWW. A rare treat, and definitely a river we'll be going back to again soon.
