Servicing a Kokatat Drysuit
Kokatat drysuits are widely regarded as the best in the business.
What makes owning a Kokatat suit even better, is the after care service.
Kokatat pride themselves on their top secret testing methods, allowing them to pin point exactly where the problems lie.
"Drysuits will pick up pin holes during normal use. This can be from undergrowth, sharp rocks, fibreglass etc.
A single pin hole if submerged can "wet out" a whole panel of the drysuit in a short time.
Kokatat's pressure test will reveal all pin holes and then its a simple matter of repairing them."
So how do you get your suit serviced?
System X have been fully trained to test and repair Kokatat suits, and are the point of call for UK and European customers,
This means you can send your suit straight to System X directly, saving a bit of time if you're in a rush, or you can use Escape Watersports as the 'middle man'.
Fill out their service form and enclose with your drysuit.
To get the best results, make sure you wash the suit inside out and dry it well before sending it off.
Sending a suit back typically takes up to 2 weeks, but when it comes back its amazing to actually see where the pin hole leaks were.
From my experience this service is worth every penny!

Top 5 reasons you should be wearing a drysuit.
Drysuits are often the one piece of kit we keep putting off, because we can always just make do with that old cag and some taped up dry trousers right?

So why should you reconsider making the jump and getting yourself a new drysuit?

That first step into the water, whether it's intentional or not, always sends a shiver up the spine.

A day trip down the Taff.
We weren't going to miss a chance of catching a nice bit of September sun this week!
The team decided to pack 2 SUPs and a kayak, headed up the river Taff to Treforest, and set out for a chilled trip down to Cariff Bay.
